Seth Biser , M.D.

Dr. Biser is a Johns Hopkins-trained and board-certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship-trained in Laser Vision Correction, corneal transplantation, and advanced anterior segment eye surgery. He is also a well-recognized researcher and teacher in his specialty.

After graduating cum laude with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. He served his internship at Albert Einstein Medical College in Philadelphia, where he was voted outstanding transitional intern of the year. He trained in ophthalmic surgery at the top-rated Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduation, he was awarded a Heed Fellowship, given to fewer than 30 ophthalmologists nationwide each year. He then trained for a year at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island with internationally-recognized pioneers in refractive surgery and corneal transplantation.

Dr. Biser has been in a LASIK surgeon at Diamond Vision since 2004. He was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the combined residency training program at N.Y.U. / Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, where he was voted Attending Surgeon of the Year in 2003. He has a broad experience in refractive procedures including LASIK, IntraLASIK, LASEK, PRK, astigmatic keratotomy, and clear lens exchange.

Dr. Biser has received several awards for his research. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of both the American and International Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
